Mission MBA (Manitoba Baptist Association) and Mission NCA (North Central Association) are ministry multiplication teams in the Northern Plains Region who are ready to help you to further extend the influence of your church outside the four walls. The six men who comprise this team and I meet online on a monthly basis and face to face at least once a year to pray, study and plan how to encourage our pastors and people to expand their ministries. At this time, our first church plant in many years, River City Church, Fargo, ND is growing rapidly and praying that God will direct them to plant additional churches in the near future. Part of River City’s beginnings can be traced to a prayer drive conducted by our multiplication team a year and a half before it began.
Our multiplication team is ready to assist you in understanding and applying the key biblical principles of multiplication. They are poised to help you conduct a prayer walk to help you see your community through the eyes of the Holy Spirit. They are willing to address your congregation with an encouragement to return to the core of the church’s mission: Love God, Love People, Make Disciples. They have study material that will help you better understand how to apply these key principles to the life of your church.
A church that multiplies ministries and disciples is in obedience to Jesus Christ. In some places, new churches need to be planted. In other places, new ministries need to begin. Wherever there are clusters of people, the Gospel is needed.
Everything about the mission of the church involves multiplication. Jesus told parables about planting seeds to produce a harvest. He spoke of vines and branches, made to multiply fruit. Those that did were pruned to be even more productive. Those that did not were cut and burned.
In the Great Commission, Jesus commanded his church to be on the move, making disciples, baptizing, and teaching them. The early church demonstrated obedience to His commands.
